  • 简介:Recentinvestigationsindicatedthatmetalscanbeeffectivelystrengthenedbynumeroustwinboundaries(TBs)withtwin/matrixlamellarthicknessesinthenanometerregime.Superiorstrength-ductilitysynergieshavebeenachievedwiththenano-twinstrengtheningmechanism.Inthistalk,thenovelnano-twinstrengtheningwillbeappliedtoaustenitesteelsincluding316LstainlesssteelandaFe-Mnsteelinordertooptimizetheirstrength-ductilitycombinations.Thesteelsareprocessedbymeansofdynamicplasticdeformation(DPD,i.e.,plasticdeformationathighstrainrates).Single-phased(austenite)bulknanostructuredsteelspecimenswereprepared,consistingofnano-sizedgrainsembeddedwithnano-scaletwinbundles.Theas-preparednanostructuredsampleswereannealedatvariousconditions,resultinginpartialrecrystallizationofthenanostructuresandformingamixturestructureofcoarse-grainsembeddedwithnano-twinbundles.Strengthandductilityoftheaustenitesteelswithdifferentamountofnano-twinbundlesareanalyzed.Measurementsshowedthenano-twinstrengthenaustenitesteelscanbesuperstrong(withyieldstrengthabove1GPa)togetherwithaconsiderableductility(elongation-to-failure>20%).

  • 简介:ThisstudymainlyintroducesthetechnicalpropertiesofakindofleancoalminedfromLu'an,aprefectureofShanxiProvinceanditsapplicationtocoalinjectioninlarge-scaleblastfurnaces(BFs)inBaosteel.Chinaisrichinleancoalresources.Thetechnicalpropertiesofleancoal,includingashcontent,sulfurcontentandcaloricity,etc.,aresimilartothoseofanthracitecoalusedinBaosteel,exceptthefactthatthevolatileofleancoalishigher.Besides,theexplosivepropertyandthecokingpropertyofleancoalaresuitablefortheBFcoalinjection.Inthisstudy,leancoalwastestedinthepulverizedcoalinjection(PCI)ofaBF.Inthetest,theblendingproportionofleancoalinthecoalblendwasincreasedgradually,andtheconsequentialproductionindexesweretraced.AlltheoperationalindexesshowthattheresultsoftheBFcoalinjectionaregood,demonstratingthatleancoalcanbesubstitutedforanthracitecoalinthePCIinBFs.Withanabundantamountandspecificutilization,leancoalisfoundtobeofahigheconomicvalue.

  • 简介:Theformationofsolidsolutioncombinedwithtricalciumphosphateanddicalciumsilicatecouldpromoteaconsiderableremovalofphosphorusfromliquidslagtosolidduringhotmetaldephosphorization,andthusthedephosphorizationbyusingmultiphasefluxescouldsignificantlydecreasetheconsumptionoflime.However,thereactionmechanismofmultiphasefluxeshasnotbeenunderstoodclearly.Inthepresentstudy,thephasediagramfortheCaO-SiO2-FeO-P2O5systemhasbeenmeasuredwithcertainoxygenpartialpressureathotmetalpretreatmenttemperature.ComparingwiththeCaO-SiO2-FeOsystem,shrinkageofliquidphaseareaathigherFeOcontentswasobservedat1673Kwithoxygenpartialpressureof9.2×10-11atm.

  • 简介:InordertosuppressthesurfacecrackinginducedbyCuduringreheatingandhotrollingprocess,Cuenrichmentanditsmigrationatthesteel-scaleinterfacewasinvestigatedduringheatingofsteelcastattemperaturesbetween1000℃and1200℃inN2-O2andN7-H2Oatmospheres.ForoxidationofCucontainingsteel,CuenrichedphasewasformedbythepreferentialoxidationofFeandtheenrichmentandmigrationbehaviorofCudependsontheoxidationtemperature,steelchemistryandatmospherecondition.NiinsteelinducedtheformationofsolidCuandNienrichedphaseatsteel/scaleinterfaceandinscalelayerandtheformationofunevensteel/scaleinterface,whichsuppressestheCuenrichmentbecauseofextrusionofCuenrichedregionbeforetheformationofliquidphase.Ontheotherhand,SnadditionpromotestheliquidCuformationatsteel/scaleinterfaceandpenetrationintograinboundaryofCuenrichedphasebydecreasingsolidustemperatureandsolubilitylimit.Inaddition,foroxidationat1200℃,thebehaviorofCuatandaroundthesteel-scaleinterfacewasfounddependenttoalargeextentonmorphologyoftheoxidescaleformedduringoxidation.Attheearlystageofoxidation,Cu-richphaseformedandaccumulatedatthesteelscaleinterfaceunderbothO2-N2andH2O-N2atmospheres.Astheoxidationproceeded,however,Cuenrichmentatanditsmigrationfromthesteel-scaleinterfacewerevastlydifferentfordifferentoxidizingatmospheres.InthecaseofO2-N2oxidation,anoxidelayerformedinitiallyatthesteelsurface,butsoonafteragapwasdevelopedatthesteel-scaleinterfaceandgrewinitssize,whichpracticallyseparatedthescalefromthesteelsubstrate.Thescalelayerformedunderthisconditionwasporous.TheCu-richphaseinitiallyformedattheinterfacewasfoundmigratingtothescalelayer,leavingnoCu-richphaseattheinterface.InthecaseofH2O-N2oxidation,however,thescalelayerformedwasdenseandtightlyattachedtothesteelsurface,andtheCurich-phasecontinuedto

  • 简介:Amulti-objectiveoptimizationapproachfortherollshiftingstrategyincrossrollingcampaignsofhotstripmillsispresented.Theeffectofdifferentrollshiftingstrategiesonrollwearcontourisstudiedbynumericalsimulation,andtwoevaluationindexes,namelybodysmoothnessandedgesmoothness,areproposed.Theaveragebodysmoothnessandaveragerollingedgesmoothnessofallstripsinarollingcampaignaretakenastheobjectivefunctions,theshiftingpositionsofallwidestripsasthedecisionvariables,andthemulti-objectivemethodofNSGA-Ⅱastheoptimizer.Thusamulti-objectiveoptimizationmodelfortherollshiftingstrategyisbuilt.Thesimulationresultsshowthatworkrollshiftingcanmakewearcontoursmooth,andadish-shapedwearcontourwithoutseverelocalwearcanbeachievedbytherollshiftingstrategywithvaryingstroke.OptimizationexperimentationshowsthatbymeansofNSGA-Ⅱ,agoodPareto-optimalfrontcanbeobtained,whichsuggestsaseriesofalternativesolutionsforrollshiftingstrategyoptimization.Theexperimentationalsoshowsthatthereisaconflictbetweenthetwoobjectives.Finally,applicationcasesconfirmthefeasibilityofthemulti-objectiveapproach,whichcanimprovethestripprofile,reduceedgewavesandextendtherollingmilesofarollingcampaign.

  • 简介:Tobreakthroughthebottle-neckofquantumyieldinupconversion(UC)core-shellsystem,weelucidatedthattheenergytransferefficiencyincore-shellsystemhadanevidentcontributionfromthechargetransferofinterfacewithrelatedtotwofactors:(1)bandoffsetsand(2)bindingenergyareadensity.Thesetwovariablesweredeterminedbymaterialintrinsicpropertiesandcore-shellthicknessratio.Wefurtherunraveledthemechanismofnon-radiativeenergytransferbychargetransferinduceddipoleattheinterface,basedonaquasi-classicalderivationfromF?rstertyperesonantenergytransfer(FRET)model.Withstablebondingacrosstheinterface,thecontributionsonenergytransferinbothradiativeandnon-radiativeenergytransfershouldalsobeaccountedtogetherinAuzel'senergytransfer(ETU)modelincore-shellsystem.Basedonthediscussionaboutinterfacebonding,bandoffsets,andformationenergies,wefiguredoutthesignificanceofinterfacebondinginducedgapstates(IBIGS)thatplayedasignificantroleforinfluencingthechargetransferandradiativetypeenergytransfer.Theinterfacebandoffsetswereakeyfactorindominatingthenon-radiativeenergytransfer,whichwasalsocorrelatedtocore-shellthicknessratio.Wefoundthattheenergyareadensitywithrelatedtocore/shellthicknessratiofollowedthetrendofBoltzmansigmoidalgrowthfunction.Bythephysicaltrend,thisworkcontributedareferencehowthemulti-layeredcore-shellstructurewasformedstartingfromtheverybeginningwithinminimumsize.Aroutewaspavedtowardsasystematicstudyoftheinterfacetounveiltheenergytransfermechanismincore-shellsystems.
