摘要 Basedonenergyequilibrium,anewprocedurecalledtheMembraneFactorMethodisdevel-opedtoanalyzethedynamicplasticresponseofplateswithdeflectionsintherangewherebothbendingmo-mentsandmembraneforcesareimportant.Thefinaldeflectionofasimply-supportedcircularrigid-plasticplateloadedbyauniformlydistributedimpulseisobtained.Incomparisonwithotherapproximatesolutions,thepresentresultsarefoundtobesimplerandinbetteragreementwiththecorrespondingexperimentalvaluesreoordedbyFlorence.
