摘要 InresponsetotheTianAnshipincidentandtheshellingofYinPingIsland,theU.S.,JapanandS.KoreacreatedamechanismtocoordinatetheirpoliciestowardsN.Koreawithintheframeworkoftheirmilitaryalliances.TheybelievethemechanismismoreimportantthantheSix-PartyTalks.Whiletalkscontinuetobedelayed,tensionsonthePeninsulahavenochanceofbeingamelioratedandmayevenintensify.Thisclearlydoesnothelptosolvetheissuenorreopenthedenuclearizationprocess.
