Influences of liners and magnetic flux concentrator on induced Joule heat in hot extruded billet-中国期刊网

摘要 Intheproductionofpipesbyhotextrusionmethod,billetsshouldbeheatedtoacertaintemperaturebeforehotextrusionbyinductionheating.ThesegmentedlinersintheinductionfurnacecanpossiblyaffectthecircumferentialJouleheatgeneration,thusleadingtoanuneventemperaturefield.Thecommonlyusedmagneticfluxconcentrators(MFC)canincreasethetemperatureonbothendsofthebillet.Inthispaper,thepossibleeffectoflinersandthefactorsaffectingtheutilizationoftheMFC,includingthepermeability,dimensionandposition,areallnumericallystudiedanddetermined.
