BasedontheGrammianandPfaffianderivativeformulae,GrammianandPfaffiansolutionsareobtainedfora(3+1)-dimensionalgeneralizedshallowwaterequationintheHirotabilinearform.Moreover,aPfaffianextensionismadefortheequationbymeansofthePfaffianizationprocedure,theWronski-typeandGramm-typePfaffiansolutionsoftheresultingcoupledsystemarepresented.
