摘要
Inthisstudy,afowsolverwasdevelopedbasedonthegoverningRANSequationsofcompressiblefowsandwasfurtherextendedtoincludetheefectsofelectromagneticforcesnamelyLorentzforces.Lorentzforcesmaybeaddedasasourceterminthegoverningfuidfowequations.NumericalstudieswerecarriedoutforNACA0015aerofoilathighanglesofincidencesfrom15to30andcomparedwithsomeavailablecasesofexperimentalandincompressiblenumericalsolutions.Thehydrodynamicsperformancewasimprovedusingamagneticmomentumcoefcientofupto0.048.Thesizeoffowseparationzonewasdecreasedorcompletelyeliminatedbyincreasingthiscoefcient.Theoveralldragwasnotchangedconsiderably,howevertheoverallliftwasincreasedupto80percentatstallangles.
