摘要
Inthispaper,amathematicalmodelforLovewavepropagationinaporouselasticlayerunderarigidboundaryrestingoveraporo-elastichalf-spacehasbeendeveloped.ThestudyshowsthatsuchamediumtransmitstwotypesofLovewaves.ThefirstfrontdependsonthechangeinvolumefractionoftheporeswhereasthesecondfrontdependsuponthemodulusofrigidityoftheelasticmatrixofthemediumandisthesameastheLovewaveinanelasticlayeroveranelastichalf-space.Itisobservedthatthefirstfrontismanytimesfasterthantheshearwaveinthemediumwithvoidporesduetothechangeinthevolumefractionoftheporesandissignificant.
