摘要
Uncertaintyisinherentandunavoidableinalmostallengineeringsystems.Itisofessentialsignificancetodealwithuncertaintiesbymeansofreliabilityapproachandtoachieveareasonablebalancebetweenreliabilityagainstuncertaintiesandsystemperformanceinthecontroldesignofuncertainsystems.Nevertheless,reliabilitymethodswhichcanbeuseddirectlyforanalysisandsynthesisofactivecontrolofstructuresinthepresenceofuncertaintiesremaintobedeveloped,especiallyinnon-probabilisticuncertaintysituations.Inthepresentpaper,theissueofvibrationcontrolofuncertainstructuresusinglinearquadraticregulator(LQR)approachisstudiedfromtheviewpointofreliability.Ane?cientnon-probabilisticrobustreliabilitymethodforLQR-basedstaticoutputfeedbackrobustcontrolofuncertainstructuresispresentedbytreatingboundeduncertainparametersasintervalvariables.Theoptimalvibrationcontrollerdesignforuncertainstructuresiscarriedoutbysolvingarobustreliability-basedoptimizationproblemwiththeobjectivetominimizethequadraticperformanceindex.Thecontrollerobtainedmaypossessoptimumperformanceundertheconditionthatthecontrolledstructureisrobustlyreliablewithrespecttoadmissibleuncertainties.Theproposedmethodprovidesanessentialbasisforachievingabalancebetweenrobustnessandperformanceincontrollerdesignofuncertainstructures.Thepresentedformulationsareintheframeworkoflinearmatrixinequalityandcanbecarriedoutconveniently.Twonumericalexamplesareprovidedtoillustratethee?ectivenessandfeasibilityofthepresentmethod.
