摘要 Theproblemofconstructingamodelreferenceadaptivecontrollawforanuncertain1-dimensionalparabolicsystemisconsideredinthisarticle.Thecontrollerdesignedhereinvolvesonlytheplantstatebutnoitsderivatives.Aprioriboundsontheplant'suncertainparametersareusedtoproposeswitchinglawswhichserveasanadaptivemechanism.Theexponentialdecaytozeroofthestateerrorwithanyprescribedrateisguaranteedbychoosingacontrollerparametercorrespondingly.Numericalstudiesarealsopresentedtoillustratetheapplicabilityofthecontrollaw.
