摘要
Vanadiumdioxide(VO2)isaphasetransitionmaterialwhichundergoesareversiblemetal-insulatortransition(MIT)whentriggeredbythermal,photo,electrical,andevenstress.ThehugeconductionchangeofVO2rendersitapromisingmaterialforterahertz(THz)manipulation.Inthispaper,someinterestingworksconcerningthegrowthandcharacteristicsoftheVO2filmareselectivelyreviewed.AswitchingofTHzradiationbyphoto-drivenVO2filmisdemonstrated.ExperimentsindicateanultrafastopticalswitchingtoTHztransmissionwithin8picoseconds,andaswitchingratioreachestoover80%duringawidefrequencyrangefrom0.3THzto2.5THz.
