摘要
ThreekindsofKH2PO4rawmaterialareusedtogrowdeuteratedpotassiumdihydrogenphosphate(DKDP)crystalsbytraditionalandrapidgrowthmethods,respectively.Thegrowthhabitdependenceonthepurityofrawmaterialisdescribedandanalyzed.Theopticalpropertiesincludingtransmissionspectraandlaser-induceddamagethresholdofthesecrystalsaremeasured.Itisfoundthatthegrowthmethodaffectstheopticalpropertiesofcrystalmoreobviouslythantherawmaterialwiththemasscontentofmainmetalionsbelow1ppm.Moreover,themorphologyofthecoreintheobserveddamagesitesindicatesthatanexplosionprocessprobablyoccursduringlaser-inducedbreakdown.
