摘要
HydrolysisofDNAisanimportantenzymaticreaction,butitisexceedinglydifficulttomimicinthelaboratorybecauseofthestabilityofhydrolysisofDNA.Inthispaper,thecleavageactivityofcomplexesformedbetweenCu(Ⅱ)andfourdifferentaminoacidoraminoacidmethylesteronDNAisstudiedbygelelec-trophoresis.ItisfoundthatDNAcouldbecleavedbyCu(Ⅱ)-L-HisandCu(Ⅱ)-L-Hismethylestercomplexesandtheefficiencyofcleavageislargelydependentonthemetalion-to-ligandratio.FurtherexperimentsshowthatthecleavageofDNAmediatedbyCu(Ⅱ)-L-HiscomplexesoccursviaahydrolyticmechanismandtheactivechemicalspeciesthataffectsDNAcleavageisproposedtobeMI2H+andML2H22+.
