Irreversibility analysis of unsteady couette flow with variable viscosity-中国期刊网

摘要 ThispaperinvestigatesnumericallytheinherentirreversibilityinunsteadygeneralizedCouetteflowbetweentwoparallelplateswithvariableviscosity.ThenonlineargoverningequationsarederivedfromtheNavier-Stokesequationsandsolvednumericallyusingasemi-discretizationfinitedifferencemethodtogetherwiththeRunge-Kutta-Fehlbergintegrationscheme.Theprofilesofvelocityandthetemperatureobtainedareusedtocomputetheentropygenerationnumber,Bejannumber,skinfrictionandNusseltnumber.Theeffectsofembeddedparametersonentireflowstructurearepresentedgraphicallyanddiscussedquantitatively.
