摘要 Inthispaper,theerenkovradiationoflightpulseinamicroringandgratingsissimulatedandinvestigated.Thesystemdesignconsistsofatwo-defectgratingincorporatingamicroring,connectedwithauniformgrating.Insimulation,thecontinuouswave(CW)lightpulsewithwavelengthcenteredat1.55μmisinputintothemicroringdeviceviathetwo-defectgrating.Theresonantoutputsfromthetwo-defectgratingpropagatethroughthemicroringanduniformgrating,wherethetimedelaysofthosetwoinputpulseswithdifferentwavelengthsthroughthesystemaredistinguishedbytheoutputuniformgrating.Fromtheobtainedresonantoutputpulses,wefindthatthered-shiftedandblue-shiftederenkovpulsesareobserved.Inapplications,suchaproposedsystemcanbeusedtoformtwodifferentopticaldelaypulses,inwhichthechangeinerenkovradiationofthem,i.e.,timedelaywithinamicroringdevicesystem,canbeusefulforerenkovradiationimagingandsensingapplications.
