摘要
Radio-frequency(RF)tomographyisanemergingtechnologywhichderivestargetslocationinformationbyanalyzingthechangesofreceivedsignalstrength(RSS)inwirelesslinks.ThispaperpresentsandevaluatesanovelRFtomographysystemwhichiscapableofdetectingandtrackingatime-varyingnumberoftargetsinaclutteredindoorenvironment.ThesystemincorporatesanobservationmodelbasedonRSSattenuationhistogramandamulti-targettracking-by-detectionfilteringapproachbasedonprobabilityhypothesisdensity(PHD)filter.Inaddition,thesequentialMonteCarlomethodisappliedtoimplementthemulti-targetfiltering.Toevaluatethetrackingsystem,theexperimentsinvolvingupto3targetswereperformedwithinanobstructedindoorareaof70m^2.Theexperimentalresultsindicatethattheproposedtrackingsystemiscapableoftrackingatime-varyingnumberoftargets.
