摘要
Alongwiththeflourishingofthewindenergyindustry,floatingoffshorewindturbineshavearousedmuchinterestamongtheacademiaaswellasenterprises.Inthispaper,theeffectsofthesupportingplatformmotionontheaerodynamicsofafloatingwindturbinearestudiedusingtheopensourceCFDframeworkOpenFOAM.Theplatformmotionresponses,includingsurge,heaveandpitch,aresuperimposedontotherotationofthewindturbine.Thrustandtorqueonthewindturbinearecomparedandanalysedforthecasesofdifferentplatformmotionpatternstogetherwiththeflowfield.Itisshownthatthemovementofthesupportingplatformcanhavelargeinfluencesonafloatingoffshorewindturbineandthusneedstobeconsideredcarefullyduringthedesignprocess.
