Pull-apart Basins and the Total Lateral Displacement Along the Haiyuan Fault Zone in Cenozoic-中国期刊网

摘要 Pull-apartbasinsofthreescaleswerefoundalongtheHaiyuanfaultzone.Thelargestoneismorethan50kmlong,namedLaolongwanbasindevelopedinMiocene.Amodelwasbuilttocalculatetheamountofpull-apartofanextensionalbasin.Parametersusedincalculationincludethicknessandlengthofdepositionanddepthofdetachment.Theresultsofcalculationshowthattheamountofpull-apartoftheLaolongwanBasinisabout30km.Basedonpreviousstudiesandcalculatingbyusingtheaverageslipratemethod,amountofpull-apartoftheothertwosmallerbasinsare22kmand8km,respectively.Thus,thetotaldisplacementofstrikeslipalongtheHaiynanfaultzoneisabout60kin,whichisclosetotheoffsetoftheYellowRiverfromJingtaitoJingynan.
