摘要
Variousworkhardeningmechanisms,onthebasisoftheircharacteris-tics,areclassifiedintotwocategories:thepile-uphardeningandthetanglehardening.Togetherwithadiscussionabouttheexperimentalinvestigationsofworkhardening,thedescriptionsforthosetwobasichardeningmechanismsaresuggested,respectively.Combiningthesedescriptions,anewsinglecrystalhardeninglawisproposed,whichcanbeusedtodescribeworkhardening,particularlythecyclichardeningofacrystalgraininapolycrystallinematerial.Furthermore,somerelevantdiscussiononthenewsinglecrystalhardeninglawisalsomadeinthispaper.
