Establishment of the GPS Crustal Deformation Monitoring Network in North China-中国期刊网

摘要 TheGlobalPositioningSystem(GPS)isanewmethodtomonitorthecrustaldeformationforearthquakeprediction.Nowafour-dimensionalcrustaldeformationmonitoringnetworkapplyingGPStechniqueshasbeenestablishedinNorthChina,whichisanimportantseismicmonitoringarea.Resultswithhighprecisionhavebeenachievedinthefirstmeasurementsinceaseriesofadvancedmethodsandmeasureswereadopted,andthusagoodfoundationhasbeenlaidforfutureresearchesonearthquakepredictionandgeodynamics.
