Wearing Property and Friction Mechanism of Ceramic Side Dams Used in Thin Strip Continuous Casting

摘要 Inthispaper,basedonthreedifferentkindsofceramicsidedamsforthinstripantinuouscasting,thefrictionandwearingpropertywerestudied.Theeffectsoffrictionpressure,temperatureandfrictiontimeonthefrictionandwearingpropertyoftheceramicsidedamwereresearched.What’smore,thefrictionmechanismandwearingmechanismoftheceramicsidedamwereresearchedaswell.ResultsshowthattheceramicsidedamofBN-SiAlONhasthebestwearingresistanceproperty.whileatroomtemperature,16minoffrictiontimeand0.35MPaoffrictionpressure,thetestfrictioncoefficientis0.60andwearingcapacityis272.358mm~3.Inaddition,whenat400℃,16minoffrictiontimeand0.18MPaoffrictionpressure,thetestfrictioncoefficientis0.70.Thefrictionmechanismofceramicsidedamwiththeoppositewearingmaterialismainlythecompositewearofadhesion,abrasiveandfatigue.
