Althoughnurseryrhymesandothertextsforchildrenofteninvolveimplausibleorevenfantasticcombinationsofelements,childrenseemtohavenotroublefollowingthem.Thepapertriestoaccountforthephenomenoninperspectiveofmentalspacetheory,suggestingthatchildrenareadeptatthesortofmentalprocesscalledasconceptualintegration.
