摘要
Themodifiedhybridelementmethod(MHEM)isutilizedtopredictandanalyzewaveforcesonarbitrarilyshapedmultiplebodies.Thismethodcanbeappliedtowavesofallwaterdepths,i.e.shallow,intermediate,anddeepwaters,onslowlyvaryingseabed.TheMHEMemploystheICCGmethodtosaveCPUandstorage,thusthecomputationofwaveforcesforlargemulti-bodysystemscanbecarriedoutonmicrocomputers.Numericalresultsofthepresentmethodarecomparedwithexperimentaldataandothersolutions.ItisshownthattheMHEMprovidesmoreaccuratesolutionsofthewaveforcesthanothernumericalmethodsdo.Therefore,themethodologypresentedhereincanbeusedinthedesignofcoastalandoceanstructures.
