Compressed Data Cube for Approximate OLAP Query Processing-中国期刊网

摘要 Approximatequeryprocessinghasemergedasanapproachtodealingwiththehugedatavolumeandcomplexqueriesintheenvironmentofdatawarehouse.Inthispaper,wepresentanovelmethodthatprovidesapproximateanswerstoOLAPqueries.Ourmethodisbasedonbuildingacompressed(approximate)datacubebyaclusteringtechniqueandusingthiscompresseddatacubetoprovideanswerstoqueriesdirectly,soitimprovestheperformanceofthequeries.WealsoprovidethealgorithmoftheOLAPqueriesandtheconfidenceintervalsofqueryresults.AnextensiveexperimentalstudywiththeOLAPcouncilbenchmarkshowstheeffectivenessandscalabilityofourcluster-basedapproachcomparedtosampling.
