摘要 ThispapercomparesthedevelopmentoftelecomregulationandderegulationbetweensometypicalAsiancountries,andanalyzesthetelecomregulatorysystemsandindustrialorganizationsofChina.ThispaperalsoinvestigatestheapproachesandstrategiesofAsiancountriestoreducetheregulation,reinforcethecompetitionandestablishefficienttelecomindustries.HavingexaminedtheAsiantelecommunicationmarkets,thepaperattemptstoapplythelessonslearnedfromtheopeningofthetelecomsmarketsofthedevelopedeconomies.FinallythepapercontendsthatifAsianeconomieswishtohavenationallybasedcompanies,stateorprivateenterprises,inacompetitivepostion,theformatoftheimplementationoftheWTO/GATSbasictelecomsagreementshouldbecarefullyexamined.
