Influence of Ramjets’ Water Inflow on Supercavity Shape and Cavitator Drag Characteristics

摘要 WaterramjetsusingouterwaterasanoxidizerhavebeendemonstratedasapotentialpropulsionmodeforunderwaterHighSpeedSupercavitatingVehicles(HSSVs)becauseoftheirhigherenergydensity,powerdensity,andspecificimpulse,butwaterfluxchangestheshapesofsupercavity.TouncoverthecavitatordragcharacteristicsandthesupercavityshapeofHSSVswithwaterinflowforramjets,supercavitationflowsaroundadiskcavitatorwithinletholearestudiedusingthehomogenousmodel.Bychangingthewaterinflowintherangeof0-10L/sthroughcavitatorshavingdifferentwaterinletareas,aseriesofnumericalsimulationsofsupercavitationflowswasperformed.Thewaterinflowfluxoframjetssignificantlyinfluencesthedragfeaturesofdiskcavitatorsandthesupercavityshape,butithaslittleinfluenceontheslenderratioofsupercavitaty.Furthermore,asthewaterinletareaincreases,thedragcoefficientofthecavitators'frontfacedecreases,butthisincreasedoesnotinfluencethediameterofthesupercavity'smaximumcrosssectionandthedragcoefficientoftheentirecavitatorsignificantly.Inaddition,withincreasingwaterfluxoftheramjet,boththedragcoefficientofcavitatorsandthemaximumdiameterofsupercavitiesdecreasestably.ThisresearchwillbehelpfulforlayoutoptimizationandsupercavitatyschemedesignofHSSVswithwaterinflowforramjets.
