Transient Heat Transfer Study of Direct Contact Condensation of Steam in Spray Cooling Water

摘要 Weconductedatransientexperimentalinvestigationofsteam–waterdirectcontactcondensationintheabsenceofnoncondensiblegasinalaboratory-scalecolumnwiththeinnerdiameterof325mmandtheheightof1045mm.Weappliedanewanalysismethodforthesteamstateequationtoanalyzethemolarquantitychangeinsteamoverthecourseoftheexperimentanddeterminedthetransientsteamvariation.Wealsoinvestigatedtheinfluenceofflowratesandtemperaturesofcoolingwaterontheefficiencyofsteamcondensation.Ourexperimentalresultsshowthatappropriateincreasingofthecoolingwaterflowratecansignificantlyacceleratethesteamcondensation.Weachievedarapidincreaseinthetotalvolumetricheattransfercoefficientbyincreasingtheflowrateofcoolingwater,whichindicatedahigherthermalconvectionbetweenthesteamandthecoolingwaterwithhigherflowrates.Wefoundthatthetemperatureofcoolingwaterdidnotplayanimportantroleonsteamcondensation.Thismethodwasconfirmedtobeeffectiveforrapidrecoveringofsteam.
