TheMinistryofIndustryandInformationTechnologyandtheMinistryofNaturalResourceshaverecentlyissuedthesecondbatchofrareearthmining&productionquotastothesixrareearthgroups(45,000tonsofrareearthsmeltingandseparationproductsand46,500tonsofmineralproducts).Accordingtothenotice,thegovernmentstrictlycontrolsoverallamountofrareearthmining,smeltingandseparationproducts.Thetotalamountofrareearthmining,smeltingandseparationcontrolplansfor2018are120,000tonsand115,000tons,respectively.
