摘要 Thispaperfirstproposesanewapproachforpredictingthenonlinearwavetroughdistributionsbyutilizingatransformedlinearsimulationmethod.ThelinearsimulationmethodistransformedbasedonaHermitetransformationmodelwherethetransformationischosentobeamonotoniccubicpolynomialandcalibratedsuchthatthefirstfourmomentsofthetransformedmodelmatchthemomentsofthetrueprocess.TheproposednewapproachisappliedforcalculatingthewavetroughdistributionsofanonlinearseastatewiththesurfaceelevationdatameasuredatthecoastofYuraintheJapanSea,anditsaccuracyandefficiencyareconvincinglyvalidatedbycomparisonswiththeresultsfromtwotheoreticaldistributionmodels,fromalinearsimulationmodelandasecondordernonlinearsimulationmodel.Finally,itisfurtherdemonstratedinthispaperthatthenewapproachcanbeappliedtoallthesituationscharacterizedbysimilarnondimensionalspectrum.
