摘要 Basedonthefittingonpaleoearthquakedataofintra-plateregionsinthenorthernpartofChi-naandgivingastatisticalmodeloftimeinterdependence,thepotentialdamageearthquakesinadefinitefutureperiodandcharacteristicsofpresentshocksalongtheLingwufaulthavebeenanalyzedbyusingdangerousprobabilityfunctionandsomenewdataconcerned.Wehavein-ferredthatthefaulthasenteredaperiodthatearthquakeswillprobablyoccur.ThereexistsapotentialdangerthatastrongearthquakewithMs7.0-7.5willoccurin10-100a.
