摘要
Two-dimensional(2D)materialshaveemergedasattractivemediumsforfabricatingversatileoptoelectronicdevices.Recently,few-layermolybdenumdisulfide(MoS2),asashining2Dmaterial,hasbeendiscoveredtopossessboththesaturableabsorptioneffectandlargenonlinearrefractiveindex.Herein,takingadvantageoftheuniquenonlinearopticalpropertiesofMoS2,wefabricatedahighlynonlinearsaturableabsorptionphotonicdevicebydepositingthefew-layerMoS2ontothemicrofiber.WiththeproposedMoS2photonicdevice,apartfromtheconventionalsolitonpatterns,themode-lockedpulsescouldbeshapedintosomenewsolitonpatterns,namely,multiplesolitonmolecules,localizedchaoticmultipulses,anddouble-scalesolitonclusters.Ourfindingsindicatethatthefew-layerMoS2-depositedmicrofibercouldoperateasapromisinghighlynonlinearphotonicdevicefortherelatednonlinearopticsapplications.
