Theheatofhydrationofdrysulfonicacidresinindifferentcomcentrationsofsulfuricacidhasbeendetermined.TheheatofhydrationoftheresininH2Ois143.4J/g(resin).Thegreatertheconcentrationofsulfuricacid,thelesstheheatwillbereleased.Thehydrateformedfromthreesulfonicacidgroupsandonewatermoleculeisthemoststableoneofallthehydratesofsulfonicacidresinandwater.
