摘要 A100-J-levelNd:glasslasersysteminnanosecond-scalepulsewidthhasbeenconstructedtoperformasastandardsourceofhigh-fluence-laserscienceexperiments.Thelasersystem,operatingwithtypicalpulsedurationsof3–5nsandbeamdiameter60mm,employsasequenceofsuccessiverodamplifierstoachieve100-J-levelenergyat1053nmat3ns.Thefrequencyconversioncanprovideenergyof50-Jlevelat351nm.Inadditiontothehighstabilityoftheenergyoutput,themostvaluableofthelasersystemisthehighspatiotemporalbeamqualityoftheoutput,whichcontainstheuniformsquarepulsewaveform,theuniformflat-topspatialfluencedistributionandtheuniformflat-topwavefront.
