摘要 TheobjectiveoftheApollon10PWprojectisthegenerationof10PWpeakpowerpulsesof15fsat1shotmin-1.InthispaperabriefupdateonthecurrentstatusoftheApollonprojectispresented,followedbyamoredetailedpresentationofourexperimentalandtheoreticalinvestigationsofthetemporalcharacteristicsofthelaser.Morespecificallythedesignconsiderationsaswellasthetechnologicalandphysicallimitationstoachievetheintendedpulsedurationandcontrastarediscussed.
