Averyinexpensiverecive-onlysatellitereceiverhighbandwidthtrafficfromafeeder.Thereforetheconnectionbetweenthefeederandthereceiverisuni-directional.Theexistingroutingprotocols,suchasLink-StateandDistance-Vector,aredesignedonthepremisethatanylinksarebidirectionalandtheycannothandletheuni-directionallinks.Inthispaper,adynamicmulticastroutingprotocolisproposed,whichcanhandleuni-directionalnetworks,Thisprotocolcanalsoadapttothedynamicchangeofthetopolgoyofthenetworkandhasgoodscalability.AformaldescriptionoftheprotocolbyPetrinetisgiven.Liveness,deadlockfreeandotherpropertiesoftheprotocolarepreoved.
