Theauthorsstudyhomogenizationofsomenonlinearpartialdifferentialequationsoftheform-div(a(hx,h^2x,Duh))=f,whereaisperiodicinthefirsttwoargumentsandmonotoneinthethird.Inparticularthecasewhereasatisfiesdegeneratedstructureconditionsisstudied.ItisprovedthatuhconvergesweaklyinW0^1,1(Ω)totheuniquesolutionofalimitproblemash→＋∞.Moreover,explicitexpressionsforthelimitproblemareobtained.
