摘要
Thelinecartographicsymbollocatedontheboundaryandthepointcartographicsymbollocatedbysinglepointarethemainbodyandstressofthemap.Thecartographicsymbolsaredividedintopoint,lineandareasymbolincartographyandtraditionaleducationalbooks,butuptonowthereisonlyqualitativedescriptionaboutthethreekindsofsymbols,therearenotthemathematicaldefinitionsofpoint,lineandareasymbols.Thispapertriestosolvetheproblem.Theauthorsproposethemathematicaldefinitionaboutpoint,lineandareacartographicsymbolaccordingtothetheoryoftopologyandexpoundtheirdependencerelation.
