摘要
Thisarticleconsiders30provincesofChinaasthecross-sectionsubjects,andutilizesthedatasamplefrom2009to2015ofthesecross-sectionstoformulateaSpatialPanelDataDurbinModeltoanalyzetheeffectofenvironmentalregulationonemployment.Theresultindicatesthatenvironmentalregulationhasnegativeeffectonemploymentwiththeconsiderationofspatialspillovereffect,andthisadverseeffectisnotsignificantmathematically.Withtheenhanceofenvironmentalregulation,thenegativeimpactonemploymentwilldecreaseaccordingly,evenmayeventuallypromotejobgrowth,whichmeanstheremaybeanon-linearrelationshipbetweenthem.Specifically,thedirecteffectofenvironmentalregulationonemploymentindicatesthatitisbeneficialforjobgrowthwhereastheindirecteffectillustratethatitisdetrimentalforemployment.
