摘要
Photocatalyticwatersplittingandcarbondioxidereductionprovideuscleanandsustainableenergyresources.Thecarbondioxidereductionisalsotheredemptionofthegreenhouseeffect.MoS3/TiO2photocatalystsbasedonTiO2nanoplateshavebeensynthesizedviaahydrothermalacidificationrouteforwaterandcarbondioxidereductionreactions.ThisfacileapproachgenerateswelldispersedMoS3withlowcrystallinityonthesurfaceofTiO2nanoplates.Theas-synthesizedMoS3/TiO2photocatalystshowedconsiderableactivityforbothwaterreductionandcarbondioxidereduction.ThethermaltreatmenteffectsofTiO2,theloadingpercentageofMoS3andthecrystallinephaseofTiO2havebeeninvestigatedtowardsthephotocatalyticperformance.TiO2nanoplatesynthesizedthroughhydrothermalreactionwiththepresenceofHFacidisanidealsemiconductormaterialfortheloadingofMoS3forphotocatalyticwaterandcarbondioxidereductionsimultaneouslyinEDTAsacrificialsolution.
