摘要 Analumina-supportedcobaltaerogelcatalystpreparedfromasol-gelandasupercriticaldryingmethodwasusedinthecatalyticdecompositionofmethane.Thephysical-chemicalpropertiesofthecatalystwerecharacterizedanditsactivityformethanedecompositionwasinvestigated.Theeffectsofcalcinationandreactiontemperaturesontheactivityofthecatalystandthemorphologyofthecarbonnanotubesproducedwerediscussed.ACoAl2O4spinelstructureformedinthecalcinedcatalyst.Thequantityofthenanotubesproducedinthereactionincreaseswiththeamountofcobaltinthereducedcatalyst.Ahigherreactiontemperatureleadstoahigherreactionrate,thoughfasterdeactivationofthecatalystoccurswiththechange.Thecarbonnanotubesgrownonthecatalysthavesmoothwallsanduniformdiameterdistribution.
