摘要
OnOct.17,2001,delegatesfrommorethan140countriesandregionsunanimouslyagreed,atthe31thUNESCOsession,thatthecommemorativeactivitiestocelebratethemillenniumoftheGesarEpicwouldbeenlistedintooneoftheUNprogramsfromJulyof2002toJulyof2003.ItshowsaninternationallyaffirmativerecognitionofthewisdomoftheTibetanethnicgroupofChina,anditisalsoaninternationallyaffirmativerecognitionofthosegreatachievementsmadeinthecollection,collationandacademicresearchofdocumentsoftheGesarEpicinChinasincethefoundingofNewChina,especiallysinceitsreformandopeningup.
