Degradation of corrosion resistance of Zircaloy-4 in LiOH aqueous solution

摘要 ToinvestigatethedegradationofcorrosionresistanceofZircaloy-4inLiOHaqueoussolution,SIMS(secondaryionmassspectrometry)analysiswasperformedtoexaminetheprofilesofLi+,K+,andOH-inoxidelayersformedinthesameconcentration(0.1mol/L)LiOHandKOHsolutions.Eventhoughtheoxidelayershaveanequalthickness,thepenetrationdepthofK+isshallowerthanthatofLi+,andthepenetrationdepthofOH-corrodedinKOHsolutionisalsoshallowerthanthatcorrodedinLiOHsolution.ItshowsthatthediffusionofOH-intooxidelayerisaccompaniedbythecorrespondingcation.ThedifferenceofdegradationeffectofLiOHandKOHsolutionsonthecorrosionresistanceofZircaloy-4wasdiscussed.
