Characteristics of Resistance to Rice Sheath Blight of Zhongda 2, a Transgenic Rice Line as Modified by Gene “RC24”-中国期刊网

摘要 Thetransgenicrice,Zhongda2,whichwasgeneticallymodifiedfromanindicaricelineZhuxianBbyricechitinasegene(RC24),hadhighresistancetoricesheathblight(Rhizoctoniasolam)inlaboratoryandatwo-yearfieldexperiment.ThepathogencouldinvadesheathofZhongda2andinducesymptomsofthedisease.NodifferencewasnotedintimeofpenetrationorincubationperiodbetweenZhongda2andnon-transgenicricecontrol,ZhuxianB,butthehyphaelysatecouldbeobservedeadierthancontrol.Itsresistanceexpressedastoinhibitthegrowthofmyceliuminhosttissue.F1sfromZhongda2(♂)crossedwithotherfivenon-transgenicricelinesshowedhigherresistancethandonornon-transgenicparents,buttheresistancewasdifferentalongwiththedifferentmaternalparents.
