摘要
InthedevelopedWesternpartoftheworld,theincidenceofGCAhasmarkedlydecreasedoverthepastdecades.ThisdecreaseoftheGCAincidenceseemstobeageneralandglobalevent,suggestingthatoneorsomegloballyandgenerallycommonfactorsplayacriticalroleinthepathogenesisofGCA,andthatthisfactororfactorshavedecreasedininfluenceworldwidelyduringthepastdecades.Theseetiopathogeneticfactorshardlyareexoticdifferencesinlocalhabitsofeatingordrinkingonly.SuchexoticandlocalfactorscannotexplainthestrikingconsistencythatisapparentintheglobalepidemiologyofGCA.RegardingtheH.pyloriinfectionasthekeyfactorinthepathogenesisofgastriccancer,theserequirementsofglobalityarefulfilled.
