ADJOINT METHOD OF PARAMETER IDENTIFICATION FOR SOME NONLINEAR REACTION-DIFFUSION SYSTEMS

摘要 Thispaperdealswiththeproblemofdeterminingtwounknownparametersofsomenonlinearreaction-diffusionmodels.Thesereaction-diffusionmodelsarederivedfromapplicationsinthegroundwaterflowtransport,environmentalsciences,gasdynamics,heatandmasstransfer,industrialautomatizationandsomeotherengineeringtechnologicalfields.Theadjointmethodbasedonthevariationalprincipleisarelativelynewoptimalcontrolmethod.Itisusedintheidentificationoftheunknowndiffusioncoefficient,andsomecoefficientsofthenonlinearsinkorsourcetermsinthesesystems.Atfirst,theproblemistransferredintoanoptimizationproblemofminimizingafunctional,andtheadjointequationsofthegoverningequationsarederivedfromtheadjointmethod.Then,theformulasaregiventocalculatethegradientoftheobjectivefunctionwithrespecttothecoupleofunknownparameters.Atlast,aniterativegradient-basedoptimizationalgorithmispresentedforsolvingtheoptimizationproblem.Anumericalexampleisofferedintheend.Itshowstheeffectivenessoftheproposedapproach.
