BACKGROUNDCONTEXT:Multiplestudiesinvolvingtheoutcomesofanteriorinterbodycageshavebeenpublished,butthemajoritywerebyauthorswhodesignedthecage.NooutcomestudieswithBagbyandKuslich(BAK)cagesimplantedbyasingle-surgeonhaveeither3yearsoffollow-uporatleast25patients.PURPOSE:Todeterminethe3-to6-yearclinicaloutcomes,includingfusionrate,revisionrate,complicationsandfunctionalstatusofpatientswhounderwentplacementofanterior,stand-aloneBAKcagesbyasinglesurgeon.
