摘要 Particleinteractionsareofcrucialimportanceinmanyapplicationsincludingfluidizedbedsandotherpowderhandtingsystems.Thepresentcontributiondiscusseshowsurfacepropertiesoftheparticlescanbedeterminedinordertogetquantitativeinformationonparticleinteractions.Forinstance,weapplyadsorptionexperimentsinordertogetinformationondispersiveandpolarinteractions.ThesemeasurementsarecomplementedbycarefulroughnessmeasurementsasweltasFTIR-spectroscopyandTG-MSanalysis.AdhesionforcemeasurementswithAFMandultracentrifugeonwelldefinedidealaswellasheterogeneoussurfacesledtotheintroductionofthreegenerictypesofadhesionforcedistributions:monomodalWeibull.binlodalWeibullandlognormalTheinfluenceofroughnessandadsorbedlayersonadhesionareshown,Inaddition,wediscussimportantaspectsof1hedynamicnatureoftheadhesion/detachmentprocessbymeansofMD-simulations.
