A Robust Optimization Approach Considering the Robustness of Design Objectives and Constraints

摘要 Theproblemofrobustdesignistreatedasamulti-objectiveoptimizationissueinwhichtheperformancemeanandvariationareoptimizedandminimizedrespectively,whilemaintainingthefeasibilityofdesignconstraintsunderuncertainty.Toeffectivelyaddressthisissueinrobustdesign,thispaperpresentsanovelrobustoptimizationapproachwhichintegratesmulti-objectiveoptimizationconceptswithTaguchi'scrossedarraystechniques.Inthisapproach,Pareto-optimalrobustdesignsolutionsetsareobtainedwiththeaidofdesignofexperimentset-ups,whichutilizetheresultsofAnalysisofVariancetoquantifyrelativedominanceandsignificanceofdesignvariables.Abeamdesignproblemisusedtoillustratetheeffectivenessoftheproposedapproach.
