摘要
Robustdesign(RD)hasreceivedmuchattentionfromresearchersandpractitionersforyears,andanumberofmethodologieshavebeenstudiedintheresearchcommunity.ThemajorityofexistingRDmodelsfocusontheminimumvariabilitywithazerobias.However,itisoftenthecasethatthecustomermayspecifyupperboundsononeofthetwoprocessparameters(i.e.,theprocessmeanandvariance).Inthissituation,theexistingRDmodelsmaynotworkefficientlyinincorporatingthecustomer'sneeds.Tothisend,weproposetwosimpleRDmodelsusingtheε-constraintfeasibleregionmethod-onewithanupperboundofprocessbiasspecifiedandtheotherwithanupperboundonprocessvariabilityspecified.Wethenconductacasestudytoanalyzetheeffectsofupperboundsoneachoftheprocessparametersintermsofoptimaloperatingconditionsandmeansquarederror.
