摘要
Proteinphosphorylationplaysanimportantroleinvariouscellularprocesses.Duetoitshighcomplexity,themechanismneedstobefurtherstudied.Inthelastfewyears,manymethodshavebeencontributedtothisfield,butalmostalloftheminvestigatedthemechanismbasedonproteinsequencesaroundproteinsites.Inthisstudy,weimplementanexplorationbycharacterizingthemicroenvironmentsurroundingphosphorylatedproteinsiteswithamodifiedshellmodel,andobtainsomesignificantpropertiesbytherank-sumtest,suchasthelackofsomeclassesofresidues,atoms,andsecondarystructures.Furthermore,wefindthatthedepletionofsomepropertiesaffectsproteinphosphorylationremarkably.Ourresultssuggestthatitisameaningfuldirectiontoexplorethemechanismofproteinphosphorylationfrommicroenvironmentandweexpectfurtherfindingsalongwiththeincreasingsizeofphosphorylationandproteinstructuredata.
