摘要
BasedonthenaturalandsocialconditionsaswellashydrogeologicalcharacteristicsoftheRyukyulimestone,amajoraquiferintheRyukyuIslands,aconceptionofundergrounddam,wasproposedintheearly1970sinordertodevelopgroundwaterresourcesintheQuatemaryRyukyulimestoneregionsofJapan.Thepracticeofnearlythirtyyearshasshownthattheundergrounddamisanenvironment-friendlyandeffectivewayfordevelopinggroundwaterintheseregions.``Tofurtherimprovethetechnologyassociatedwithundergrounddam,theauthorsintroducedrelatedanalyticmethods.Theapplicationofthegeographicalinformationsystemtechnologytositeselectionoftheundergrounddamisreportedinthispaper.``
